A Press conference called by the opposition New Patriotic Party, in response to the content of the NDC manifesto delayed for several hours due to the absence of the Flag bearer

The programme, which was originally slated to take place in the morning was shifted to the afternoon, but ended up dragging into the evening.

The reason was that, Nana Akufo-Addo, who was expected to grace the occasion was not showing up, and the journalist present were told, he was going to join before the end of the Press Conference

At the close of the Press Conference, which was addressed by the Policy Advisor to the Flagbearer, Mr Boakye Agyarko, the Flagbearer was totally missing

The excuse for the absence of Akuffo Addo was that, he was locked up in a party meeting, even though all the key players in the party were present T the programme.

Akuffo Addo’s Running Mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Acting National Chairman, Freddie Blay, Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng, National Youth Organizer, Sammy Awuku and other stalwarts off the party were at the Kokomlemle Headquarters of the party

There segment, meant to engage the media was also cancelled, and replaced with entertainment.

Media practitioners present at the presser were unhappy with the announcement by Anthony Karbo, that the question and answer segment has been replaced with entertainment.

The Flagbearer appears to be shying away from cameras recently lending credence to claims about his inability to partake in the upcoming election
