The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Asante Akim Central, Konongo, Nana Afrifa Yamoah, has asked his constituents to put partisan politics aside and rally behind him to win the constituency seat in the December 7 polls.

According to him, winning the seat will make it possible for him to complete the numerous social amenities he is single –handedly funding, especially in the remote communities.

The parliamentary candidate, currently the (NDC) constituency chairman for Konongo Central has, within a five-month period (starting from January, this year) provided 30 social amenities such as water, mini –markets , sanitation feeder roads and clinic while 15 others are in various stages of completion.

The parliamentary aspirant toured a number of the communities to drum home his message of positive change, since the incumbent (MP) has done nothing in terms of development projects in the constituency, and expressed regret that although the people in the constituency had over the years supported political parties such as the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Convention People’s Party (CPP), most of the communities had not been benefitted from Social amenities.

“The (NPP) cannot match us in terms of developmental projects in the constituency,” he added.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of his tour to provide social amenities with his own resources, Nana Yamoah, stated that he decided to give back what society had given to him.

He, therefore, appealed to all those with the means in the Asante Akim, Central to do the same. The tour took him to Nyabo, Patriensa, Praso, Duase and Anunso where the community leads expressed satisfaction about the numerous projects he had funded, and appealed to him not to relent in his efforts to improve their lot.
